Had an interesting weekend -- Julie came down from Parksville and we went together to a WordPress workshop, which Jason and Kristen also attended. Most of it was over my head, but I bumbled around trying not to look like a complete idiot, and eventually I hope to absorb what I heard.
Yesterday I knit and watched figure skating, mostly. The Wings to Heaven shawl I started on our anniversary is about 90% done, and I'd like to finish it this week -- my mind and heart are already on the next one!
Today I'm going for coffee with a potentially new client, in Sidney, one of my favorite places to knit at the water, so I'm looking forward to that. And since I haven't had my camera out of the bag for days and days, I thought I'd leave you with a photo from last year... if you look closely, you'll notice that these seagulls are 'soaring with the eagles'!
