Indeed, I have two identical socks. That I knit. All by myself. :)
I used Stephanie Pearl-McPhee's 'Basic Sock Recipe' and it was easy-peasy. I'll graft the toes this morning and be able to wear them to Knit'n'Cafe this afternoon. I'm definitely hooked ... I've got the next three pairs already planned, and I think I know what everyone's getting for Christmas this year!
I also cast on another shawl day before yesterday, and the colors are amazing, but the battery died on my camera this morning so you'll have to wait for pics.
I missed seeing the Tribal Journeys canoes coming into Cowichan Bay the other day, but I did see this one under tow into the Victoria Harbour yesterday. It may have some ceremonial purpose because the BC150 celebrations (BC's 150th 'anniversary' as a province) are happening this weekend here in the harbour....
I was at Clover Point (surprise, lol) watching this dude walk off the cliff (in order to get airborne)...
And then I got distracted watching THIS, which I'll tell you all about ... tomorrow...
