My sister Julie arrived from Parksville last night, and we are taking ourselves off on a little mini-retreat (which we've already decided is the 'first annual...'). We'll be pointing the van in the direction of Port Renfrew this morning, and painting (she) and knitting (I) our way up the west coast highway today and tomorrow. I have to be back to teach a class on Saturday morning at 10 a.m., so that's our deadline to be home.
On the needles, I have about a third of a lace scarf, an inch of cuff on a pair of socks, and about 6" of the back of a sweater for me -- think that'll be enough to take with me? :-)
