AND WE'RE OFF!

No more sleeps! We are away this morning to cruise the Gulf Islands for a whole month ... excited? Who, me? Exhausted, too, but that's okay... by this evening, I'll be here...


This is Poets Cove Resort on South Pender Island, and we make a beeline for this harbour when we leave here. We tie up to a buoy in Beaumont Marine Park there (in the background in the pic), and for $5 a day we can use that pool and hot-tub and the showers at the spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.

But wait, I have knitting to show you...

These are two shawls I completed for Threads of Compassion for the local Sexual Assault Centre (unblocked in the pic), and the next one my friend Bev and I both worked on, and it will also go to SAC.

We'll be on the Penders for at least 5 days, and then we're going to Cabbage and Tumbo Islands Marine Park, and from there? Who knows....
